Áitiúil is an independent design studio directed by Andrew Kirwan, working across architecture, furniture, jewellery, interiors and objects.

Shown here as part of the wider scenographic practice, Áitiúil gathers projects developed through material research, craft, fabrication and spatial thinking. The work moves between scales: from jewellery and furniture to interiors and architectural propositions.

Although these projects sit outside the theatre, they share a common method with the scenographic work. Each begins through drawing, modelling and making, with close attention to material behaviour, construction, proportion and the relationship between body and space.
